• Shane Mclinden / Chief Executive Officer

  Shane has recently stepped down as CEO of Southseas Abalone Ltd [now renamed Yumbah]. Shane started this company in 2000 and grew it into an enterprise producing 500 tonnes of abalone per annum with a turnover in excess of $20 million. That company had 80 employees spread over 4 farm sites; a research and development division and a sales and marketing division and exported product to Singapore, China, Hong Kong, Japan, USA and United Kingdom.

  Prior to this he spent 17 years as a consulting engineer having graduated with an engineering degree from the University of Western Australia in 1982. Shane has kept bees and been investigating the honey industry for the past 2 years.

• Jock Clough / Chairman

  Jock has a background and involvement in the engineering, finance and aquaculture industries. His qualifications include a BEng and MSc from the University of Western Australia. Jock worked initially as an engineer and then entered the financial industry in 1982 joining McIntosh & Co, Stockbrokers in Melbourne. In 1988, he joined Hartley’s and was an Executive Director from 1990 and Executive Chairman from 1996. In 2001 Jock left the finance industry and became Executive Director of Clough Ltd, engineers and contractors and was Chairman between 2003 and 2007.

  Jock recently stepped down as the Chairman of Santanol, a major indian sandalwood plantation business and was formally the Chairman of Southseas Abalone Ltd [now renamed Yumbah]. Jock was also a past board member of the Fremantle Football Club and the Asia Society AustralAsia Centre and is currently on the Nature Conservancy Advisory Board and Chairman of the University of Western Australia’s Oceans Community.

• Jamie Clough / General Manager

  Jamie will be managing HFL’s overall business administration. His qualifications are a Bachelor’s Degree from the University of Melbourne, a Masters of Business Administration from the University of Western Australia and a Certificate III in Beekeeping.
